Look: Zari Jones III is a brown-skinned Afro-American woman with a muscular, cross-fit track and field physique. Her hair is worn in loose curls. She has strong facial features and wears bright lipstick in the ring.
Gimmick/Personality: The Baddest Bitch. There is no Zari Jones one or two. It was something her parents added to her name to make her feel special. Boy, did it work. Zari Jones III feels she is simply better by birthright than everybody around her and then added a hard work ethic to maintain that killer edge. She is prone to bursts of anger when she is irritated and outsized joy when she is happy. What triggers these swings? No one knows.
Biography: Zari Jones III is the third child of hard-working, but successful parents from Asheville, North Carolina. Her mother is a doctor, her father a former football player turned agent. She was always used to the finer things in life, but was taught to work for them. She shone academically and athletically, starting out with gymnastics and then becoming a track athlete when she outgrew the sport of gymnastics. She retains the coordination of gymnastics and the explosiveness of a 400 metre runner. Shoulder and ankle injuries derailed her college career. Zari Jones III then became a crossfit athlete and made the transition to professional wrestling after training with several professional wrestlers. Raw and unrefined, she has taken to the sport with the same attack mentality she approaches everything. Already a tremendous athlete, Zari Jones III is out to make her mark.
Theme Song: “We Do It Better” by Wordsmith
Entrance Sequence: You are now witnessing greatness. The houselights go down and three spotlights converge on the entrance ramp as Wordsmith’s “We Do It Better” plays over the PA system. Zari Jones III steps through the curtains. She pauses at the top of the ramp, head down, concentrating as she flexes her impressive traps and lats. She looks up at the crowd, a bright smile crossing her face as she winks at them knowingly. In beat with the music, Zari Jones III sashays her way to the ring almost but not quite slapping hands with the fans. She always seems to pull away at the last moment, but she laughs and jokes with them before she gets to ringside. Effortlessly she hops from the ring floor to the apron and then dives over the top rope to roll to her feet in the centre of the ring to a big reaction from the crowd for the display of athleticism. Smug, Zari Jones III brushes the dirt off her shoulders as she struts around the ring, flexing for the crowd.
